Some observations of today’s voting

It has been a peaceful election day and rain seemed to be the main factor making an impact.

Voters turning up to find their names were not on the voter roll was a common complaint today.

Some said it was hard to locate polling places as nearly all did not have any signs showing that was where the voting was conducted. This was an issue with those voting for the first time in local elections.

A political observer who has participated in local elections for the past 30 years, John Wasko, gives his observation and a prediction on the outcome of today’s voting.
