Hawaiian Airlines has released its fight season for the 2018 holiday season
As usual the airline is adding a third flight which will operate on Sundays beginning December 2nd to January 13th.
Flight times will be the same as the Monday and Thursday flights departing Honolulu at 4:40 pm and arriving in Pago Pago at 9:20 pm then returning to Honolulu at 1130 pm both nights.
During the festive season students studying in Hawaii or the mainland come home to spend Christmas and New Years with families.
Meanwhile local residents would head north to celebrate the season of joy with relatives off island, or just take a break from work and the island.
Some church and youth groups also visit counterparts in Hawaii or the mainland.
Christmas 2018 and the first day of 2019 fall on a Tuesday, which is a non flight night.
