A public and private sector partnership is needed to give tourism a boost.
And towards this end the American Samoa Visitors Bureau has been working with Hawaiian Air on joint promotional efforts in the north America tourism market.
Michael McDonald of the Department of Commerce, said these joint efforts with Hawaii Air should translate to more visitor numbers.
