A new business that will be manufacturing water tanks at the Industrial Park in Tafuna will officially open on Friday.

The company, Tank Guys, is owned by a businessman from Samoa, Auga Farrell Craig.

Local manager Terry Chang said they have all the necessary approvals to tart their operation which is set up at what used to be the Marist St Joseph’s Clubhouse at the Samoa Post lot at the Industrial Park.

In an interview with the owner earlier this month he said that the need for water after Tropical Cyclone Gita when power outages throughout the island disrupted the water supply, illustrates the need for their plastic rotational water tanks.

The company will manufacture 750 gallon and 1,250 gallon water tanks.  The owner says they will begin with 8 employees .
