Hawaiian Air President & CEO is here

The President and CEO of Hawaiian Airlines, Mr Peter Ingram, arrived in the territory last night on his first visit since taking the helm of the airline at the resignation of former CEO Mr Mark Dunkerley earlier this year.

Mr. Ingram here for the blessing of Hawaiian’s new cargo facility that will take place Thursday morning.

Accompanying Mr Ingram are Brent Overbeek, Senior Vice President of Revenue Management and Network Planning, Debbie Nakanelua-Richards, Director of Community Relations and a traditional spiritual leader Kahu Richard Kamanu, Vice President for Sales and marketing Ann Botticelli arrived Monday night with her daughter on a vacation and enjoyed her first visit to Aunuu island.

Botticelli said during Mr Ingram’s first year as CEO, he has been visiting all of Hawaiian’s stations to do “talk story” sessions, adding It’s a nice way for folks to get to know Peter.

While its Mr Ingram’s first visit as CEO he has been here before.

According to Botticelli it was during Ingram’s last visit that he decided Hawaiian Air needed to improve their cargo facility at Tafuna.

Members of the airline’s communications team are also here to film videos for their internal communications highlighting local staff and their work.

Mr. Ingram will meet with Governor Lolo to share news of Hawaiian Air and hear his feedback.
