Samoan woman shot dead in Carson. CA

Relatives here have confirmed the shooting death of a Samoan woman in Carson, California that may be the result of gang violence.

Reports say the woman was sitting in front of a relative’s home when she was shot.

Host of a Samoan language radio show in LongBeach, Ese Foleni, said they are advising relatives to stay alert after a post on FaceBook about gang activity between Samoan and Mexican gangs in Carson.

There was apparently no witnesses to the shooting but it was reported that the woman’s body had several gun shot wounds.

A post circulated on FB between known gangsters of Polynesian ancestry cautioned Pacific islanders in Long Beach and Carson to stay off the streets and public places because “hits are out”
