6:00 pm Tuesday: The  Department of Health advises the public that the Tafuna Health Center is open on a 24-hour basis and to call 699-6018 for further information.

The Leone and Amouli health clinics are open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Call Amouli clinic at 622-7456 and Leone clinic at 688-7822.

The Manu’a health clinics in Ofu and Ta’u remain open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For more information on all clinics, contact 699-6018.

The American Samoa Power Authority is continuing with electric power and water restoration. The ASPA Trouble lines are 699-1234 and 770-1600. Thanking the public for your patience as ASPA personnel works diligently to restore power and water to your homes.

From LBJ – The Dialysis clinic will open for normal operations on Wednesday, February 14.

The American Samoa Environmental Protection Agency  advises the public that the Boil Water notice remains in effect for all islands of Tutuila, Aunuu and Manu’a.

Everyone is reminded that open burning activities are illegal under the A.S.A.C Title 24 Chapter 5 Section 12 (ASAC 24.0512). Smoke and fumes from open burning activities may cause health issues especially for the elderly, infants/children and those with respiratory illnesses.

Please place household trash (plastics, cans, bottles, Styrofoam, papers, carpet, rubber materials, etc.) in bins and trash cans for proper disposal. Tree leaves should be collected in a remote area on your property for composting which can later generate fertile soil for planting. Tree branches can be used as fire wood for outdoor cooking purposes.

The American Samoa Community College (ASCC) will have no classes on Wednesday, February 14th. Please stay tuned for updated information regarding classes for Thursday and Friday, February 15th and 16th. For more information, contact 699-9155.

Shelters – A total of 965 displaced residents are now occupying the twelve (12) open shelters consisting of schools and church halls throughout the Territory.

The American Samoa Department of Homeland Security – TEMCO will advise of any further changes of any weather report incidents and will issue further bulletins as necessary. Report any flooding or landslides to the EOC at 699-3800, or the Police at 633-1111.
