Over 20 protesters carrying placards saying Free West Papua held a second demonstration in front of the venue for the 48th Pacific Islands
Forum yesterday afternoon.
Yesterday morning about 30 demonstrators were at the same spot with their signs calling out Free West Papua,
Only a handful of police were at the scene and they didnt seem to interfere with the group.
The leader, Jerome Mika, said Samoa flies its flag of freedom everyday but in West Papua they get shot at when they raise the West Papua flag.
He said leaders of the Forum should support West Papua’s quest for self determination.
