High Wind Warning, Small Craft Advisory in Effect

wave-action

A depression to the south of the Samoa island group is whipping up the windy weather we’ve been experiencing since Saturday.

Winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour with higher gusts will remain for most of the week.

A high surf warning is still in effect with waves of 12-15 feet pounding Tutuila, Aunuu and Manu’a.

A small craft advisory was issued yesterday and will be in place for the rest of the week.

Expect intermittent rain to continue over the next few days.
