The National Weather Service this week launched a Face Book page where complete weather information can be obtained 24/7.
The launching coincided with the recognition of local partners of the National Weather Service who assist in getting weather information out to the public and preparing the territory for major weather events.
The partners are part of the National Weather Service’s Weather Ready Ambassadors.
Certificates of appreciation and Weather Ready Ambassador signs were presented by Charlie Woodroom, the Regional Operational Services Meteorologist from Hawaii,
Woodroom talked about the new FB page and other services that the local National Weather Service provides for the public.
