Congresswoman Aumua Amata Radewagen is confident her bill to remove the requirements that banks hold off island checks for a certain time will also be passed by the Senate.
The bill was approved by the House of Representatives Friday and is now before the Senate.
The congresswoman is optimistic the bill will clear the Senate before congress concludes its current session.
