Patients hospitalized at the LBJ Hospital received a visit from First Lady Cynthia Malala Moliga and Lt. Governor Lemanu Peleti Mauga and their merry group of elves yesterday.
They came bearing gifts of platters laden with sweet treats.
Lt. Governor Lemanu Peleti Mauga expressed Governor Lolo Moliga‘s Christmas wishes to the patients and their families and said the gesture was to help brighten up their stay in the hospital at this time when families come together to celebrate the birth of Baby Jesus.
Assistant Chief of Staff of the LBJ Hospital, Dr. Annie Fuavai spoke on behalf of the LBJ board and management, and all the patients and their families to express appreciation to the Governor and First Lady and Lt. Governor Lemanu for their kind gesture.
In addition to visiting the LBJ Hospital, the group from the Governor’s Office also delivered their sweet treats to he Territorial Correctional Facility and Juvenile Detention Center.
