Governor Lolo and First Lady Cynthia Moliga are scheduled to leave the island tonight for the Governor’s medical check up in Hawaii.
Directors and non government officials who have met with the governor have noticed he wears sun glasses in his office.
A staffer who was asked if Governor Lolo was seeking treatment for his eyes said that the visit would be a routine checkup.
The staffer did not know if the governor would be holding any meetings while in Hawaii.
The governor and First Lady are travelling with their security officers and are expected to return within a week.
