Two men have been charged for beating up a minor in Fagaima.
The co-defendants Reuben Faoatau and Sio Faoatau, were charged with third degree assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and public peace disturbance.
Police report that on November 16 in Fagaima, the two defendants allegedly beat up a 15 year old.
Rueben suspected that the victim threw rocks at him and began hitting the minor with a golf club.
The other defendant allegedly tried to choke the boy and threatened to shoot him.
There was no gun at the scene, just a verbal threat.
Residents in Fagaima who witnessed what happened contacted police immediately.
The victim was taken to LBJ for treatment of his injuries.
The two have been released from custody to await their hearings.
