8:15 pm Incumbents Governor Lolo Matalasi Moliga and Lt. Governor Lemanu Peleti Mauga have a comfortable lead in the gubernatorial election.
With about half of the 44 voting precincts already reporting in their results the Lolo Lemanu team have garnered about 65 percent of the vote, winning 6,719 votes.
Challengers Faoa Aitofele Sunia and Larry Sanitoa have 3763 votes.
The team of Tuika Tuika and Salanoa Iuni Maeva have 398 votes.
Lolo & Lemanu are lead at every voting place except for Malaeloa Aitulagi and Utulei but by a very small margin.
Districts which have yet to report results include Leone, Nu’uuli and Tuala-uta.
