The Athletic Director for Wentworth Military Academy, Tom Gang, will be on Island next week and wants to meet potential student athletes and JROTC cadets who may want to go to Wentworth Military Academy.
He will be arriving on Monday night’s flight and departing on Friday night.
Sports Commissioner Ethan Lake is asking schools to please contact him at Youth and Women Affairs to arrange meetings with the Wentworth Athletic Director.
He’s reaching out to the different sports federations to see if they have any athletes who may benefit from a sports scholarship.
Wentworth is not only looking to provide sports scholarships and ROTC scholarships for college students, they are also looking to provide high school scholarships for their high school programs.
Both high school and college offer room and board for students.
Lake says this is a great opportunity for those students wanting to go to college or high school off island.
