Traffic moved at a snail’s pace to let tourists cross the streets or take photos of the aiga buses and take in sights between the port and Fagatogo marketplace.
In front of the museum, many tourists off the two cruise ships posed in front of the carved tree and there was a big crowd milling around vendor stalls at the Fagatogo malae and the marketplace. 
Several tourists joined the opening of the Fono’s guest fale this morning where they got a taste of Samoan oratory and presentation of sua.
The tourists also sampled a menu of traditional food and steak but they left before the wine was served.
The excitement of the visitors was evident.
