Police in Samoa are looking for a third suspect in an electronic operated theft which drained some customers of the Bank of the South Pacific in Samoa of their hard earned money.

Two Asian men believed to have arrived from Fiji over the weekend are in jail in connection with the theft.

Taxi drivers reported to police some suspicious activity going on at the BSP ATM at Frankie’s Store in Lotopa.

They said the men were at the ATM for a long time and they seemed to be using an electronic device that they put on the ATM machine.

Thanks to the taxi drivers the police quickly got into action and tracked the suspects to a motel in Matautu.

A third man is still on the loose and there are suspicions he may have already left the country.

Police have not released the amount of money that the suspects withdrew from the ATMs.
