Since news of Talofa Airways starting flights between the two Samoa, travelers have been anxiously awaiting the airline’s fares.
These were unveiled with the opening of the airline’s office at Pago Pago International Airport yesterday.
An adult roundtrip airfare costs $US157 which CEO Toleafoa Jeffrey Hunter said will be the one and only fare for everyone,
Children fares are $136.45 and an infant fare is $40.50.
In comparison, Polynesian’s fare structure which went into effect late last year starts from $160 up to $245 roundtrip.
The airline’ is using what was part of the SPEX Office, which was blessed in a ceremony yesterday and attended by Lt Governor Lemamu Peleti Mauga, Rep Su’a Alex Jennings, a relative of Toleafoa, a few directors, members of the business community, and relatives of the airline owners.
The first commercial flight will be next Monday morning, and the airline will have six daily flights.
