A week before it inaugurates air service between Samoa and American Samoa, Apia-based Talofa Airways is having a blessing for its new office at Pago Pago International Airport this afternoon.

This follows the launch and blessing of its office and service at its office at Fagalii Airport in Apia yesterday.

The airline owners are Toleafoa Jeffrey Hunter and his wife Maria and former CEO of Polynesian Airlines Taua Fatu Tielu and his wife.

At the launching yesterday, Samoa Prime Minister Tuilaepa Saiele congratulated the owners for believing in their vision and for their perseverance..

He said, “I am confident that improved access will enhance opportunities for our people and tourists that wish to experience the two Samoa’s and celebrate marked days in their lives twice whether it be a birthday or a wedding or divorce anniversary.”

Talofa will start flights next Monday with six scheduled flights a day using their two, 9-seater Twin Commando aircraft.

The first and last flight are from Faleolo Airport while the rest are from Fagalii.
