The Senate has again rejected the nomination of Roy Hall Jr. as a member of the American Samoa Visitors Bureau Board of Directors.
Today only four senators voted in support of Hall’s nomination while 9 opposed it.
The Senate had also disapproved Hall in the last session but Governor Lolo Moliga re-submitted his name for review.
The House of Representatives endorsed Hall by a unanimous vote last week.
The Senate did not hold a confirmation hearing for Hall last Friday because there was no quorum at the scheduled time 8:30 and Hall, an attorney had to be in court at 9am.
Hall has headed the Visitors Bureau Board for the last three years.
