The environmental group, Le Tausagi, had a successful Environment Discoveries camp in Manu’a a week ago.
The first day of the camp was spent in Ofu and the second day was spent in Olosega.
Paulia Pelenato of the Department of Youth and Women Affairs says the camp had a good turn out and each day ended with a beach cleanup and snacks .

DYWA was able to give each participant a kickball to take home as a gift and to encourage them to exercise and be familiar with the game of kickball.
Le Tausagi partners who attended the camp were from the American Samoa Environmental Protection Agency in Tutuila and Manu’a, Marine and Wildlife Resources and the Governor’s Coral Reef Advisory Group, Natural Resources Conservation Service, US Department of Agriculture, Department of Commerce in Manu’a and the Department of Youth and Women Affairs.
