The parents are thankful for the outpouring of love from the territory and around the world, government leaders, and medical staff who have made it possible for 7-year-old Pemerika Tauiliili to be medivaced to Honolulu to be treated for a condition that was only diagnosed last Wednesday.
He is suffering from internal bleeding in his brain caused by a ruptured nerve.
Little Peme was medivaced Saturday morning on an air ambulance to Honolulu and was admitted to Kapiolani Hospital where he is now in the Children’s Intensive Care Unit.
Speaking with Southseas Broadcasting General Manager Joey Cummings shortly after the plane taking little Peme and is mother Falaga took off from Pago Pago International Airport, Peme’s father, Ionatana Tauiliili said his son was accepted for treatment by both Kapiolani and Queens Hospital.

Little Peme is reported to be doing well and is going through testing.
His father said their family has been moved with the generosity shown by the community and others off island in rendering help for his son.

The cost of treatment according to preliminary estimates is $159,000 and a GOFUNDME account for Little Peme has so far raised $15,215
