Iosua Ieremia who was arrested over the weekend for Public Peace Disturbance was released this morning.

Ieremia while intoxicated caused a ruckus at his own home.

District Court Judge Fiti Sunia ordered the release of the defendant because the immigration officer said the name of the defendant was different from what was in their system.

In Immigration’s computer system the defendant was listed as Ieremia Ta’avao.

Since the names were not the same, Judge Sunia released the defendant.

But he warned him saying,  because the court was releasing him didn’t mean he was free from the allegations against him.  ,

Sunia told Ieremia, “It is simply because the court needs more time to sort out your case.”

The judge ordered the defendant to stay out of trouble and keep the peace at home.

Judge Sunia said, “I don’t want to see you back here” and the defendant replied, “I won’t be back.”
