This fourth of July weekend will not have any parade and fireworks show,
But there is a territory wide celebration at the Veterans Memorial Stadium tomorrow …the American Samoa National Olympic Committee Olympic Day.
ASNOC is highlighting all of the sports groups that make up ASNOC but more so some of the newer sports on island.
The event kicks off with a run at 6am followed by activities like basketball, ping pong, weight lifting and even a football game.
Runners for the 5K color run are asked to be at the stadium by 5am for registration and joggers will be on their marks at 6am.
