Four graduates, three from high school and one from the American Samoa Community College are lucky recipients of Blue Sky’s Future of American Samoa scholarships.
They were today handed checks of $3,500 each in a ceremony at the Blue Sky office in Nu’uuli.
The reciepients were chosen from a pool of 33 applicants according to Sherry Sele, Customer Service Manager of Blue Sky who did the honor of giving out the checks on behalf of the company’s CEO and Country Manager who are both off-island.

The scholarships were awarded to Fa’afetai Paga, a graduate of Nu’uuli Vocational & Technical High School, Fiasili Aga & Victoria Reid from South Pacific Academy and Gavin Seumalo of the American Samoa Community College.
The students will receive $3,500 per year for four years.
One of the criteria is that they have to be accepted to a four year US university and majoring in fields that are of benefit to the operation of Blue Sky such as Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Communications and Human Resources.
Fa’afetai Paga, was grateful for the monetary assistance from Blue Sky.
