Western New Mexico University is the latest US college that’s come knocking on American Samoa’s doors for student athletes,
Adam Clark, the Head Football Coach for the Mustangs is here to promote Western New Mexico’s scholarship offerings .
ASG Sports Commissioner Ethan Lake says there was no prior notice of Clark’s visit and the coach is keen on recruiting some of our football standouts.
Clark says a player from American Samoa recommended that he visit the territory and he’s glad he took up the advice.

A meeting will be held at 1pm, Friday at the DYWA Center for those who are interested in Western New Mexico Univeristy .
The meeting is for anyone interested in WNMU, not just football players or other athletes but regular students as well.
Those interested should also try and bring copies of their school transcripts.
Football players wanting to obtain a scholarship should also come with sports shoes and cleats.
This not just for 2017 & 2016 graduates, but students who graduated as far back as 2013.
