Cancer is the second leading cause of death in American Samoa.
And during this month which is dedicated to Cancer Survivor Awareness Month , the American Samoa Community Cancer Coalition is spreading the message that cancer can be nipped in the by making healthy lifestyle choices. 
Coalition chairperson Rochelle Reid and vice chairman Archie Taotasi Soliai appeared on the Samoa Sunrise show on 93 KHJ Radio this morning to promote one of the activities which is a wave for cancer survivors and their families across from Centennial Building in Utulei.

The wave is set to begin at 7 am. And Chairperson Rochelle Reid says many agencies will turn out to support the cause.
