Air Force Lt. Louise Lafitaga Togia’i Joins JAG

Louise Lafitaga Togia’i  is the first Samoan JAG Active Duty Officer in the Air Force.

A Judge Advocate General is a military attorney who advises the government on courts-martial and administers the conduct of courts-martial.

The Fagasa native took the Hawaii bar exam back in February and got an e-mail confirmation May 3rd that she passed .

The 29-year old  said in a phone interview from Honolulu that her pursuit of a law  degree  fulfills a dream of her father’s.

First Lieutenant Togiai was admitted to the Hawaii State Bar as a licensed attorney and a commissioned officer in the Air Force on May 13, 2016.
