Dear Talanei Readers

17209220

You may have noticed that the posting of stories on Talanei of late has not been in chronological order.

This year has been a busier than usual Flag Day with events starting a week before the actual Flag Day ceremony and the fautasi races requiring more than the one or two day coverage of the actual races.

We felt it was necessary to post the latest information on when, where and how the races were conducted, because as far as far as news as a commodity, this was THE most sought after commodity that the public wanted.

Hence since last Friday up to yesterday, you were reading only stories related to fautasi, and none of the other items which have been aired on our radio news bulletins were posted.

With the busy 2016 Flag Day now over, we are attempting to post all non fautasi stories which we’ve aired on our 93 KHJ and V103 radio news as quickly as possible.

You’ll notice that stories from last Friday are just now appearing on Talanei.

Please bear with us as we try to catch up.

We are also in the process of migrating to a new user friendly platform for Talanei.

The new platform promises ease of production so that the time spent on posting stories, photos, audio on Talanei would be minimized.  That’s precious time the news team should be out “beating the bushes,”

Thank you and happy reading from your news team: Doug Tuigamala (translator), Tauva Esera (reporter) and Monica Miller (News Director).
