The Department of Education sent out the following announcement after 4pm Friday which was aired on our evening news bulletin on 93 KHJ and V103:
“”Effective Monday February 8, all sports will be suspended until further notice due to the limited bus transportation to transport our children to school.
“Our priority is ‘instructions” and making sure all our students have adequate transportation to and from school.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this may create and would appreciate the support an d understanding from our parents and community.
“Should you have any questions or need clarification, please contact Deputy Director Faauifono Vaitautolu at the main DOE office, 633-5237.
