American Samoa Humane Society

The American Samoa Humane Society encourages you to take care of our animal friends. Have your pets spayed or neutered to help control the population. The Humane Society has a number for help and assistance. Call 258-5816 to adopt puppies or kittens or to have yours fixed.

American Samoa Visitor's Association

The American Samoa Visitors Bureau brings tourism industry leaders and other concerned individuals together to focus on the many issues which impact visitors to our island. Become involved and help the ASVA make a difference in our economy. Call David Vaeafe at 699-9805.

Coast Guard Vessel Inspection

Do you have a boat or vessel and you want a free no-risk inspection? The U.S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Detachment provides dockside safety inspections for all vessels engaged in commercial fishing. It's free of charge and you won't be fined for missing or improper equipment. You can schedule an inspection by calling the Coast Guard office at 633-2299.

Crisis Line

The American Samoa Coalition against domestic violence crisis line is available 24 hours a day for information and assistance. If you need somebody to talk to, call 258-5959.

Family Planning Clinic

The LBJ Family Planning Clinic is open until 7 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday. For more information, call 633-1222, extension 125 or 158.

LBJ Dental Clinic

The LBJ Dental Clinic hours are 7:30 a.m. to Noon weekdays for walk-ins and emergencies and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays for appointments and emergencies. The schedule is the same for both locations. Call 633-1222, extension 222 for information.

Womens Hospital Auxiliary

The Women’s Hospital Auxiliary needs volunteers of all ages to help in the hospital fale. You can donate your free time by calling 633-1222, extension 199.

If you are lonely, depressed, or considering suicide - stop! Call the You Are Not Alone Help Line at 252-9262.
