Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump has announced the appointment of John Raynar as honorary chairman for his campaign in American Samoa.
Mr. Trump states in a press release issued to the local media, “It is my pleasure to have John serve as our honorary chairman in American Samoa.
“With the help of John and so many other supporters from American Samoa, we will make America Great Again.”
Raynar, also vice chairman of the Republic Party of American Samoa , has been an avid Trump supporter since 2012 on 93 KHJ’s Sunrise Show .
Raynar says, “Mr. Trump is the only candidate telling it like it is. His message to Make America Great Again is resonating with the voters of American Samoa, many of whom feel like they have been forgotten by the current administration.”
He adds that he’s honored to be a part of the Trump team.
The local Republican Party will hold their caucus on March 22.
