Many American Samoans living in other parts of the Pacific are representing their adopted homes at the 12th Festival of Pacific Arts in Guam.

Such is the case of Flowerpot Tuiolesega Salas who is on the Northern Marianas delegation.

Her husband was a JROTC instructor here and was responsible for starting the program at Manu’a High School.

The art work that she displayed at the festival has a distinctive Samoan flavor.

Talking with our man in Guam, Doug Tuigamala, Tuiolesega Salas expressed her pride in the Samoan culture.
