Matson Shipping, will soon be providing a direct shipping link between Hawaii and the two Samoa.
Not only will this be good for local merchants it will also be a welcomed service for relatives in Hawaii who want to ship goods for their families in American Samoa.
At present there’s no direct link from Hawaii to the territory, One has to ship from Hawaii to the US West coast then to the territory through existing shipping services.
But Matson is announcing their new direct service from Hawaii to Samoa and to American Samoa at a cocktail reception tomorrow evening.
All Black Great La’auli Michael Jones, who is one of Matson’s reps in Auckland, New Zealand will be here for the launch.
