A two-member film crew from Honolulu is in the territory this week filming a segment on American Samoa for the airline’s Hawaiian Skies in flight entertainment.

Tim and Kat Brady are independent contractors and this is their second feature on American Samoa.

They also produced the long segment on Flag Day highlighting the fautasi races last year.

Hawaiian Air spokeswoman Ann Botticelli said the crew is filming all over the island for a travelogue highlighting what’s great about our home.

She says it’s part of the support that Hawaiian Air pledged to Governor Lolo to help American Samoa increase tourism.

The new feature will be shown on all Hawaiian Air widebody flights which will give it an international audience with the airline’s service to Korea, Japan, China, Australia, New Zealand, and Tahiti.

The crew arrived Monday and will complete their filming assignment here on Friday.

Boticelli did not have the schedule of when the segment on American Samoa will be shown on Hawaiian Air.
