A girl who was attacked by dogs in Kokoland was admitted with serious injuries in the Pediatric Ward at LBJ Hospital.

Medical authorities have declined to disclose the extent of the girl’s injuries except to say that they are serious.
The girl is reported to have been attacked by more than two dogs as she was walking along the sidewalk in Kokoland.
The girl, said to be between 5 and 7 years old, was by herself and people who happened to pass by in a vehicle heard her cries in anguish, and stopped to pull the dogs away.
Commissioner of Public Safety Save Liuato Tuitele said yesterday that he was not aware of such an incident but would look into it.
As of this afternoon, the girl was still in the hospital.
