The Federal Emergency Management Agency sent a team to the territory on Friday’s Hawaiian Air flight.

On the same flight were officials from the American Red Cross.

FEMA’s new approach is to track a weather system and try to get to a location before the system reaches land.

Such is  the task of the Incident Management Assistance Team that arrived Friday night.

Faletoa Ulufale, the Acting Public Information Officer for Homeland Security mentioned the FEMA team in his report at a briefing of the cabinet yesterday morning.
