Avele college student Setefano Taofia Toala has pleaded guilty to four charges of posting threats on Facebook, and has been sent back to prison to await a July hearing of additional charges against him.

Setefano has pleaded not guilty to 5 other charges relating to school fights.

Talamua Online reports the National Prosecution Office (NPO) asked the court to deny bail for Setefano due to the seriousness of the offences against him.

NPO representative Iliganoa Atoa said Setefano was the mastermind of troubles with another school, he posed a high risk to society. and should remain in custody until July.

Judge Vaepule Vaemoa Va’ai granted NPO’s application and sent Setefano back to prison.

Four other Avele students, who were placed under police custody last week, have been released on bail to await their hearing in July.

They are under curfew and are not to leave home from 9.00pm to 6.00am.

The four, Jason Vitale, Sharmma Peato, Peter Taua’ana and Metai Fono all pleaded not guilty.

The quartet were among 26 Avele students arrested during fights with students of another school 3 weeks ago resulting in the temporary closure of Avele College.
