It’s now raining heavily in the Bay Area and callers to our radio stations report that the whole island is getting a down pour.
The heavy rains started just after 9 this morning.
The National Weather Service has had a flash flood watch in effect since yesterday.
We have been getting calls from ASG employees wanting to know if a memo has been issued for early closure of government departments.
We checked with the Governor’s Office at 9:45 and were told “not yet.”
