Butch Folauo’o, an employee of the ASG Sports Complex has given his version of the accident involving a police motorcycle on Saturday morning.
KHJ News quoted Commissioner of Public Safety Save Liuato Tuitele saying that the motorcycle unit was hit by a vehicle in the rear as the DPS unit was turning into the stadium.
According to Folauoo, he was heading to the stadium from the west side and saw the police motorcycle heading west.
As he was turning into the stadium, the motorcycle hit his vehicle.
Folauoo said the headlights on the driver’s side of his vehicle sustained damages.
He filed a report with police for insurance purposes but said he’s not pressing charges given that no one was injured.
