Western Union Offers ‘Zero Charge’ to Send Money to Fiji

Western Union and its top agents Fexco with 8 locations in American Samoa are offering help for citizens of Fiji and locals who want to send money to victims of Tropical Cyclone Winston.

The money transfer and currency exchange company is offering zero charges to send money to Fiji effective from March 1st to March 30.

Chris Wilby, Fexco Group General Manager Pacific and Anarosa Ale Molioo of Fexco Samoa announced their donation while on a visit to their local agents.

Wilby said American Samoa has a growing Fijian Community and their company is happy to be able to offer this help for the people of Fiji and their loved ones across the Pacific who’re sending them monetary aid.

In addition, the Western Union Foundation is contributing $US20,000 to the Fiji Red Cross for relief efforts.
