The Sosaiete o Faafafine i Amerika Samoa has continued its tradition of giving to the elderly mothers and fathers and children with severe disabilities residing at Hope House.

Last Thursday afternoon, President Seti Leautumauga, Ms SOFIA Jayleen Chun and members of SOFIA presented $2000 to Hope House.

Monsignor Etuale Lealofi, now being cared for at the home and Josephine Tavale Hope House Manager gladly accepted the donation and expressed their gratitude to the organization.

They assured the SOFIA members that their good works for Hope House residents go a long way to help take care of the residents.

The funds were raised at the recent Miss SOFIA Pageant at which Mrs Jayleen Chun, an English teacher at Leone high School was crowned.

SOFIA recently had a changing of the guard, and Seti Leatumauga has taken over the reigns from former president Don Vaavale while Ipi Ieli is the vice president.
