Panamex Pacific and Anchor Milk are teaming up to help the close to 2000 Starkist Samoa employees who are out of work for five weeks.
General Manager of Panamex, Kahleena Strachan said on the Samoa Sunrise Show this morning, that instead of doing a promotion they are donating Anchor milk to the affected families.

The giveaway is for StarKist workers as well as employees of Talofa Systems, which is also shutdown.
Strachan is hopeful that other companies will pitch in to help the cannery workers.
Panamex is also offering discounted Anchor milk prices for cannery workers.
