Ottoville II is the name of a new commercial building, the latest project of Haleck Enterprises, that will soon be going up on the vacant property on the corner of Ottoville and FAA roads.

Passersby will have noticed a section of the land closest to the main road being cleared.

Avamua Dave Haleck says the new commercial building will be a 26,000 square foot, two story commercial building .

The first floor will include Argosy University’s new campus while the top floor will house professional offices and conference rooms.

Argosy’s main office is at the Tradewinds Hotel and its classrooms are located at the ground floor of Pago Plaza.

Avamua says Ottoville II will be fully compliant with the American Disability Act regulations, will have ample parking and situated close to a two-acre property.

He says the new building is part of an overall plan to construct a future shopping center on the adjacent property.

Construction is expected to take 12-14 months and the price tag of close to $4 million is funded by Haleck Enterprises Inc and another investor, which Avamua did not disclose.

The contractor is Craig Construction, American Samoa.

Avamua says that building a large commercial building is a big undertaking.

He says, “As we have done in the past, we believe and have faith in moving American Samoa forward in terms of nice facilities for businesses to operate from. When the return outweighs the risk, we find ways to move ahead. “
