The myna expert with the Department of Marine and Wildlife Resources Susana Saveedra Cruz is urging the public to help in the effort to kill as many myna birds as possible.
In four months, Cruz and her 28 volunteers have put to sleep more than 1,200 of these birds.
She leaves at the end of her contract in August and hopes that by that time, a thousand or a couple of thousands of birds will see the end of the light.
