A man is being held on bail of $20,000 on four counts of first degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
The victim in the latest sex case before the district court is the defendant’s own 16 year old daughter.
The girl told police every Thursday evening, she would see her father lighting a pipe and smoking ice inside the bathroom, after which he would enter her bedroom.
According to court filings there’s no door to the girl’s bedroom and she said that’s how the defendant can easily enter and molest her.
The girl is quoted in court papers saying that she would try to fight off her father and ward him off by placing a pillow between her legs.
The alleged abuse happened four times in August.
According to the girl this happened while her siblings were at their grandparents for the summer and her mother was taking care of her baby.
The girl said she did not say anything at first because her father threatened to kill her mother and her siblings.
The pre trial hearing for the defendant, whose identity KHJ News is withholding, to protect the victim is October 26th.
