Inconsistencies in the wording of a plea agreement prompted Chief Justice Michael Kruse to continue the case of LJ Solo till Monday.

Under a plea that was read by Assistant Attorney General Robert Pickett in High Court today, Solo would plead no contest to possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and the other charges, driving under the influence and careless driving would be dismissed.

By his plea he will not contest allegations that on the night of November 10, 2015, in a car he was driving he had in his possession a small bag which contained marijuana.

After the plea was read, the Chief Justice noted there were inconsistencies as far as sentencing recommendations.

One part of the plea said that the government would recommend a sentence and another said both parties would make their own sentencing recommendations.

The Chief Justice told the prosecutor to fix the inconsistencies in the plea agreement and continued Solo’s case to Monday.
