Governor Lolo says the greatest gift Easter Holiday brings us is hope and he prays hope and happiness fill our hearts as we celebrate Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
In his Easter message, the governor said, “Easter is the most joyous time in Christendom; it is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus the Messiah.
“It is a time when we reflect upon the truth of the gospel, that Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead.”
Lolo said the resurrection is proof that Jesus had victory over death and that everyone who believes in what he did on the cross will also live life eternal.
The governor adds, “The great gift of Easter is hope, which makes us have that confidence in God, in His ultimate triumph, and in His goodness and love, which nothing can shake. Through His death and resurrection Jesus showed us the way to a life of hope and happiness- this way is humility.”
Lolo said, As a Christian country, let us celebrate with grateful hearts the Paschal Triduum of the Passion and Resurrection of our Lord, and may the risen Christ grant hope and happiness in our hearts.
