The owners of Excluive by offdarock, Leuina and Joseph Ioane, are enroute home after a whirlwind trip to London where they and fashion designers from Samoa, Nauru, Papua New Guinea and Cook Islands, made their presence felt on the catwalk.
The immeasurable success for the couple comes from the contacts they developed and all the hype they generated on social media with their eye catching creations, helped along by their stunning and spirited models one of whom was Stallone Nua, son of Senator Nuanuaolefeagaiga Saoluaga Nua.
Their efforts have translated into sales and many enquiries.
Out of 14 pieces that Exclusive by offdarock paraded in London, 10 were sold and according to Leuila and Jospeh they received orders from all over the world.
Meeting those orders will keep them busy when they return home tomorrow night.
“We gained so much international attention to collaborate with other Pacific designers to showcase our line.
“We gained invites from Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Las Vegas as well as Tonga and New Zealand,” they shared.
The couple added, “We gained a positive insight on how other Polynesian fashion designers are growing their fashion lines working smarter not harder.”
“The glory belongs to God. ..only through Him are we able to do what we love.”
